Grene Sande and Gyttegård Plantation are unique natural areas and cultural history!
Gyttegård Plantation is a so-called "Copenhagen plantation", which has only existed for well over 100 years. In the past, it was an area of hard-working heathen peasants who struggled with sand escape.
Today, you can see traces of both the "Copenhagen plantation" and the sand escape, as the area consists of woodland, dry heathland with cranberries and heather, as well as many larger and less humid meadows and marsh areas. There are large dunes, of the finest light sand, which you can run and play in as much as you like. https://www.visitbillund.dk/billund/service-information/grene-sande-gdk611741
At the Museum of Water Technology, you will find steam boilers and pumps from 1893 and forward. The Museum of Water Technology in Aalborg has intact installations which have worked for many years.
Part of the waterworks building dates back to 1854 when the waterworks were built. The main building was built in 1907 in a distinctive style where the tower has embrasures. The building was drawn by the architect Hother August Paludan (1871-1956).
The oldest preserved machine in the museum is from 1893. Among other things, there are also steam boilers, oil engines, electric pumps, measuring instruments, switchboards, and much more. https://www.visitaalborg.com/aalborg/plan-your-trip/museum-water-technology-gdk596094

Christiania, the famous freetown of Copenhagen, is without a doubt one of Denmark’s most popular tourist attractions.
Christiania was founded in 1971, when a group of people cut a hole in the fence to the military barracks in Bådmandsgade. Soon the area was known for Pusher Street, where you could buy hash and pot – but no hard drugs – from various stalls.
Today many of the original settlers still live in the collectively controlled village, and the area has a clear 70s feel to it. Around 1,000 people live in Christiania and every year more than 500,000 people come to visit. A lot of the people living in Christiania built their homes themselves giving the area an extremely interesting architectural feel. And you will find a variety of eco-restaurants, workshops, galleries and music venues offering all sorts of cultural experiences. https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/christiania-gdk957761
A royal hermitage set in the King’s Garden in the heart of Copenhagen, Rosenborg Castle features 400 years of splendor, royal art treasures and the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia.
Rosenborg Castle was built by one of the most famous Scandinavian kings, Christian IV, in the early 17th century.
Among the main attractions is the Knights’ Hall with the coronation thrones and three life-size silver lions standing guard. Tapestries on the walls commemorate battles between Denmark and Sweden.
The interiors are well-preserved and invite you to take a journey in time. You can experience the king’s private writing cabinet, his bathroom, and see wax figures of former royal inhabitants.
Rosenborg also houses an exquisite collection of Flora Danica and one of the world’s finest Venetian glass collections, both set in tower chambers. https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/rosenborg-castle-gdk410582
