Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park
The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is the tallest walk-in free-flight aviary in the world and is home to over 200 species of birds. With more than 3000 birds, made up of mainly Asian species, nature lovers will relish looking out for a myriad of colourful winged wonders in these beautifully landscaped surroundings. The star attractions at the park include ostriches, hornbills, eagles, flamingos, peacocks and parrots. Near to the KL Bird Park in the Butterfly Park, where flying creatures of a different kind flap their wings. Here, you will find butterflies in all manner of size and colour as they fly around freely in the covered grounds. Royal Museum
Want to know what it’s like to live in a palace? The Royal Museum is possibly the best place to see and experience the royal way of life in an Asian palace. The Royal Museum opened its doors on 1 February 2013 and is located in the old National Palace which was the official residence of the King and Queen of Malaysia. Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman
Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman is closed to traffic between 5pm-10pm every Saturday and transforms into a night market where petty traders and hawkers sell an assortment of goods in the open air. Bank Negara Museum & Art Gallery
A museum on money established by the country’s central bank, the Bank Negara Malaysia located in the Sasana Kijang Complex. Here you can learn all about money through interactive and computerised games, as well as interesting facts and information on money. There is an Economics Gallery, Islamic Finance Gallery, Numismatics Gallery and Children’s Gallery. Kuala Lumpur Deer Park
The Kuala Lumpur Deer Park which is a 2 hectare enclosure, houses a few species of deer including mousedeer. The mousedeer, also known as the chevrotain, is the smallest hoofed animal in the world.
