Freshwater Beach
A five-minute walk leads to Freshwater Beach, where Duke Kahanamoku introduced surfing to Australia. It’s quieter than Manly, with a family-friendly vibe, great waves, and a scenic rock pool.
Next, head to Curl Curl Beach, a top surf spot with fewer crowds. Enjoy the ocean pool at the southern end or take in the rugged coastal beauty.
From North Curl Curl, follow a stunning coastal walk to Dee Why, with breathtaking ocean views and a chance to spot seabirds or dolphins.
